spanning from -35°F to 130°F (-37°C to 54.4°C). These sealants
demonstrate remarkable stability even in extreme temperatures,
ranging from -80°F to 400°F (-62°C to 204°C). Furthermore, they
offer robust adhesion, particularly on glass surfaces, and exhibit
impressive joint flexibility, accommodating movements in the
range of ± 25% to ± 50%. In addition to their performance,
silicone sealants typically feature 10-year warranties and
have a lifespan of over 25 years. It’s worth noting that
they have a shelf life of one to two years, but it’s
important to remember that painting is not a
suitable option for silicone sealants, as paint
tends to bead up when applied to cured silicone.
