These sash lock keepers mount on the checkrail face of the outermost, upper sash of single and double hung sliding windows and work with locks like those of Prime-Line part number F 2767. They are constructed of diecast zinc and come in a corrosion-resistant, white-painted finish. Besides restoring the functionality of your window with a replacement lock keeper of this type, these keepers can help add peace of mind by restoring the security features on your vertical sliding windows. The cam-type lock mechanisms that are designed to work with these keepers draw them in firmly towards the lock bodies, providing your windows with tighter seals, better weatherizing, and increased security. Depending on the size of the sash, these keepers can be used as singles or in pairs. Each pack includes one keeper, installation fasteners, and simple instructions.
