## Description

Overview This straight-backed weather-stripping is constructed of 5/32 in. (0.156) tall fibers and comes gray in color. This weatherseal weatherization product is designed to resist air, water, sound, mold, mildew, dust and insects from entering into the home. This item can be used on virtually every door and window in a residence to improve the energy efficiency of the home by sealing the gaps and leaks around the doors and windows which allow outside air to enter, and inside conditioned air to escape. Most energy experts agree that a properly weather-stripped home will pay for the cost of weatherizing in energy savings in less than one season alone. Replacement is easy with this 1/4 in. wide straight design that allows you to insert the weather-stripping channels with the use of Prime-Line part T-8763 installation tool. This Zipper Pile™ is designed to simplify your weather-sealing projects with an effectively sealed perimeter around your windows and doors. This pile weatherstrip comes in 18 ft. lengths, and it will not break down like other felt and foam tape weatherseal products. NOTE: THIS ITEM DOES NOT HAVE AN ADHESIVE BACKING and must install into an existing weather-strip channel.
